Day 3659

ᎣᏏᏲ. ᏙᎯᏧ? Hey, welcome back!

Week 2 of the hardest PT I’ve ever done is complete. The last time I did PT like this I was 18. Speaking of, I’m working out with 18 to 24-year-olds and I’m dying just about every day. The first day I wasn’t able to run but like 50 feet, if that, and it was 14 degrees outside. Monday of this week I was able to run like a quarter of a mile and then jog-walk the rest of the mile and a half. Way better than I had done last week. I also spent about 6 hours wearing a 50-pound weight vest, walking about a mile total, and with short stints having to perform laborious activities carrying up to 100 additional pounds for short stints. That was a hell of a workout.

Progress

I’m happy with my progress. My weight hasn’t changed – it fluctuates between 143 kilos (315 pounds) to 145 kilos (319 pounds). However, my size has changed. My waist went from 48″ around to 46″. My hips/butt went from 53″ to 52″. I haven’t measured my chest or my thighs. I should do that too. I can already tell I’m stronger and progress is better.

What I eat

I’m typically awake by 5 am now. I get up and take like a Zyrtec, some ibuprofen, and one half of a sinus medication (it’s one pill), and eat half of a banana. I drink a little bit of water – like enough to get the pills down. By 7 I’m working out. I have a bottle of water I’m sipping out of during the workout mainly because the sinus meds dry me out. I only eat the part of a banana because I want a little energy, but also don’t want to have a lot in my stomach because I don’t want to throw up, or worse, have to run to a bathroom.

After the workout, I have one-and-a-half bananas, sometimes an apple, and sometimes I eat part of a salad with chicken. About 10 I’ll have another apple. At lunch, I’ll have a salad with chicken and occasionally I’ll have a Subway sandwich (roast beef, provolone, lettuce, cucumbers, pickles, black olives, and some mayo). In the afternoon, I’ll have another apple or some carrots unless I’m running around then I choose something with less fiber and “light” like a little more chicken. If I know I’m going to be running around in the afternoon I might even have a protein bar for lunch, have chicken in the afternoon, then have the salad for dinner. I sip water when we’re not running around. When we’re running around and I’m sweating I drink a lot of water. And by a lot, I mean nearly constantly.

For dinner, I might have chicken and salad, maybe some pasta, whatever I think isn’t going to cause issues the next morning with the workout.

Conclusion

That’s it, I guess. I’m always exhausted at the end of the day. I have to get everything ready for the next day including doing laundry. And I’m usually asleep by 930. On days I’m in the office I’m always bored because I’m not running around as much.

Until next time. Dodadagohvi. ᏙᏓᏓᎪᎲᎢ.
