I have 10 more weeks of training classes. Which is really 7 weeks of classes. I’ve ordered some additional weights for when I’m walking around the house and going up and down the stairs. The idea is that when I’m walking on the elliptical in the evening and walking around the house I’ll build up some additional muscle to handle running in full gear.
In the last two weeks, I’ve lost about 2 inches in size and a little over 4 pounds. This week I’m going to work on when to eat different foods. I need to come up with a good plan for when I don’t have afternoon workouts and days when I do. I did learn the last two weeks that at least a banana in the morning before a workout and don’t eat anything processed or grains and I’ll do fine in the afternoon. I also need to save apples for the afternoon and eat more protein at lunch than fiber. I’m also finding that I’m getting worn out by the afternoon despite eating a big lunch. So I probably need to eat more. I’m getting plenty of fruits and vegetables (2 bananas, 3 apples, and a bunch of carrots as well as the salad I eat) – I might need to up the proteins since I’m not eating a lot of protein just some protein.
Workouts kill me each day. That’s good. It means I’m pushing myself pretty hard – to my ability level anyway. I have a pretty bad sinus infection thing going on. So I’m headed to see the doctor later.
