ᎣᏏᏲ. ᏙᎯᏧ? Hey, welcome back!
It has been 26 days since I started working out with the 18 to 24-year-olds. They have killed me each day. I’ve lost 3 inches off my waist already. My weight isn’t fluctuating; I’ve lost 4 pounds. I’m sure that I’ve gained some muscle since every day is an hour-long workout and then 4+ hours of vigorous work moving an extra 40+ pounds constantly. It’s pretty heavy work.
It is difficult not to think I’m out of shape, and I am, but I’m not as out of shape as I think. I need to do some longer endurance runs each week. I also need to do more planks and push ups. That’s for another time.
I have had some pretty horrible hamstring issues. I can’t stand up after squatting. I wake up and my hamstrings feel so tight. It’s quite painful. I did some research and testing and as it turns out I have “gluteal amnesia” which basically means I’ve been sitting at a desk for so long my butt forgot it has muscles that can be used and basically don’t move meaning I use my hamstrings to stand.
According to Bob and Brad here are the exercises I’m doing. I did some of them yesterday and already notice a big difference.
Until next time. Dodadagohvi. ᏙᏓᏓᎪᎲᎢ.
