I have an Arduino driver board and I wanted to print a turntable so that I could scan objects. I decided that my first “real” print would be a base and table for a stepper motor so I could scan http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37222
This isn’t all. I need to design a better base, make a way to assemble a much larger turntable plate and not use blue tape for the print (or soak the pieces so I can remove the blue tape remnants.)
I printed at 0.3 mm resolution and am very very happy with how the print turned out.
I still have yet to be able to print one of the Lego Tracks, but the rest of my prints (companion cubes, and calibration cubes) have turned out very well.
