The Vufine AR Kit came in a day early. So I tested it. There are some significant differences between the HoloKit. The Holokit is made of much more sturdy cardboard. There are dual lenses and it comes put together already. The Vufine comes unassembled in an envelope with instructions. It has thinner cardboard and no lenses. They both contain the same type of mirrors and viewscreen materials.
Viewing between them is different. HoloKit is designed for Mixed Reality (MR). While Vufine AR Kit is designed for what it says, AR. I tested SERINDA on the Vufine already and it’s fantastic. There is an optimal brightness on the computer monitor vs the display screen that needs to be met when using either device. However, I’m extremely happy with both.
