Good and bad news.
The first is bad… I have yet to be able to get DAVID to run on Parallels with the PS3 camera. I think I’m going to have to get a camera that will work with Windows to begin with and try it.
The good news is that, after talking with my brother-in-law (genius mechanical engineer), I have another option for mounting the laser level that may work better than what I was thinking and require fewer moving parts. The bad news is that it would be a lot easier to build if I had a 3D printer (ironical and paradoxical – yes, that just happened).
The 3D Laser Scanner is on hold until I can come up with a way to get the image to the computer… meaning a camera
